"To live among objects, can appear for some of madness, for me it is the concrete expression of a dream. I like my job and hope I shall make share my passion with a maximum of  collectors across this splendid art which is Primitive Art.

All these years Philippe Laeremans knew his sister's husband was collecting Pende African Art, but he never saw his collection, until the day Philippe came to the idea to present on a regular base private collections in his new gallery in the rue des Minimes 27.

 

Now we have the pleasure to invite you this Friday 20 March at 6 p.m. at the opening of the private and unseen collection of J.M. Desaive & C. Laeremans, about Pende Art, 27 rue des Minimes, 1000 Brusselsis your time to discover these unique Pende Art collection  presented for the first time.

 

There is a catalogue for sale in the gallery.

About: Philippe Laeremans and his wife Lisa, operate at the highest level, by exhibiting works of absolute top quality. 

Philippe Laeremans collected African art from an early age and became a leading patron of a number of established art galleries in Belgium and abroad. Until, in 2004, he decided together with his wife Lisa to set up his own gallery at the Zavel-Sablon in the former gallery of Michel Koenig, a loyal friend who has always appreciated Philippe Laeremans’s ‘eye’ and expertise.
