Korvar, Wandamen Bay, Cenderawasih Bay.
Wood and glass trade beads,
30,4 x 17 x 18,8 cm. 19th/20th century.
Rare form of a seated Korvar with arms crossed. The forward-projecting
face is typical of the Wandamen Bay area and seems to represent a particular
hair-style.
